Hey, my name is Jagger Spacy and no, Spacy does not have an “e” in it. I can’t tell you how many times people have spelled my last name wrong but enough about that. I grew up in Arizona and have a huge blended family, with 4 siblings, but only one biological brother named Austin. He and I are about as close as two brothers can be. Growing up, I literally played basketball every day of my life. My plan was to play collegiately but things changed on my 18th birthday. That was the day that my true dream of creating music came to life. I always wanted to be in the music industry, but it was something I kept to myself. One day my mom gave me a laptop, which was supposed to be for “college.” I saw that it had garage band on it, so I began by creating two songs in my closet. After a couple weeks, I decided to have my mom listen to the songs. To say she was blown away is an understatement. She then had my step dad listen to the songs. He is a pretty honest guy and when he heard the songs, he was visibly impressed. So for my 18th birthday my parents thought it would be cool if they took me to a studio to produce the songs I made on garage band. The studio we ended up going to was called Tallcat Studios. We played my songs for them and they looked at me and said, “You need to be doing this!”. From that day until now its been crazy. I now consider myself a rapper, but my mom says I’m more than a rapper, so whatever that means I’m going to go with it.
